Safety
At this age, children should be capable of running without falling down, climbing up and down stairs using a handrail, and climbing. This is the time to encourage them to play in the neighborhood playground and parks and supervise them while they practice ball games, jumping, balancing and climbing. Once the child turns two, it is also possible to seat them in a forward-facing car seat.
Around the age of 3, children can begin practicing riding a bicycle. Make sure they wear a helmet. It is important to spend time in fresh air, whether it is in nature, in the neighborhood garden or at the beach or pool, and this should be encouraged (and in any case, preferred over watching screens) but always under the full supervision of an adult.
