Tiponet - Let's Meet and Talk About It

Tiponet is a free online platform for group sessions of parents that is moderated by Family Care Center nurses. The purpose is to support parents and to promote child development, to make relevant information accessible and to provide supplementary and professional long-term response.

Session topics: The sessions will introduce a wide range of topics pertaining to baby care, welfare of parents and family relations: nursing, sleep, diet, development, sibling bonds, maintaining relationships, etc. The sessions take place on several different dates and times to allow options.

Registration: To register for the sessions for the first time, you need to register to the website. You can then easily register to any session you want. The link to the Zoom session will be sent to you at the end of the registration to your email, and on the morning of the session, an SMS will be sent to your phone.

Language of the sessions: The sessions are offered in Hebrew and Arabic.

Tiponet is a free online platform for group sessions of parents that is moderated by Family Care Center nurses. As part of the Family Care Center services, here too, the purpose is to support parents and to promote child development, to make relevant information accessible and to provide supplementary and professional long-term response. The sessions are free of charge.

Session topics

The sessions introduce a wide range of topics pertaining to baby care, promotion of their development and welfare, as well as to parents and family. The sessions take place on several different dates and times to allow a selection at your convenience. You need to register to the sessions in advance.

Examples of session topics (there are many more!):

Beginning with the basics: daily baby care: The session will focus on initial care of an infant, mother and on ‘landing’ into parenthood. We will share difficulties and answer questions.
Sleeping like a baby, birth to 6 months: The session will discuss sleep development of babies in the first months of life. We will learn to identify when babies are tired, how much sleep they need, how to help them transition from being awake to sleep.
Baby diet and the transition to solids: Thinking about starting the transition to solids? The session will discuss signs of readiness to begin the transition to eating various foods. What should we start with, how do we transition safely and how do we start creating healthy eating habits.
Together and separately - parenting, connection and self-care: Parenting is a challenging and overwhelming position. The session discusses how to create ‘separate’ and ‘together’ from a place of self-esteem, constructive communication and enjoyment from small successes.
Sibling relationships - world war or world alliance: sometimes they fight constantly and sometimes they play and laugh with each other. The session will discuss the special bond between siblings and its importance. We will learn how to create a positive atmosphere at home that encourages a positive relationship between siblings.
Infant massage workshop, mother-child bond through touch: The workshop involves several 45–60-minute sessions during which we learn how to help infants relax, facilitate better development and obtain tools for calm sleep. This is quality time with your infant and with other parents.

Registration to the website and sessions

You must register to the website the first time, after which you can register for any session you want. You can then directly connect to your personal area.

Registering for a session is easy and user-friendly:

Enter the tab Sessions at Tiponet.
Select the topic you want to join.
Choose a date from the proposed options.
Register for the session.

Upon registration, the system will send you via email a link to the Zoom session. Additionally, the link to the Zoom session will be sent to you on the morning of the session to your cell phone.
