Rehabilitation & Mobility Devices

If you have a physical disability, you may be eligible for financial support for rehabilitation and mobility devices through your health maintenance organization (HMO). The copayment amount is determined according to the fixed price list of the Ministry of Health.

Devices with no copayment:

• Ocular prostheses (artificial eyes)
• Breast prostheses (up to the established limit)

Assistance is provided only to those with a permanent disability. Eligibility is not granted for temporary disabilities or for people already receiving financial support from other sources. To request a rehabilitation or mobility device, contact your family physician or the nursing staff at your HMO.
