The Ministry of Health offers assistance in financing geriatric nursing care for geriatric patients and mentally frail patients according to the financial situation of the hospitalization candidates and their family members.
The process of hospitalization according to long-term care code consists of two stages:
- Determining the patient's medical and functional status and the suitability of their hospitalization in a nursing facility for geriatric or mentally frail patients.
- Determining the amount of hospitalization candidates and their family members' copay in financing nursing hospitalization.
