Safety
The moment a new baby enters the world is unforgettable. Along with the excitement of becoming parents comes the realization that keeping your baby safe and healthy is now one of your most important responsibilities, beginning from the very first day.
During the first few weeks of life, babies spend most of their time sleeping. Their needs are simple: feeding, sleeping, bathing, diaper changes, and, of course, love and affection. At this stage, it is best to avoid screen exposure whenever possible, including screens that are on in the background. Instead, focus on close, responsive interactions such as talking, singing, gentle touch, eye contact, and holding your baby safely and comfortably. As babies gradually begin to explore and learn about the world around them, parents and caregivers should continue providing a safe environment during everyday activities. For example, avoid drinking hot coffee or other hot beverages while holding your baby; always place your baby on their back to sleep, with no blankets, pillows, or toys in the crib; and when traveling by car, always secure your baby in a rear-facing car seat that is properly installed in the vehicle's back seat.
